On August 1st, those who failed to update their Passwords to meet the New Security Guidelines lost SSO Access. We are unable to restore your account until the Password has been updated. Do Not Create A Nova Support Ticket.
Please Read Carefully - Self Service Guidance Document
Section 1: Pages 2 - 6 - This is for New Users Only
Section 2: Pages 7 - 10 - If you forgot your password or answers to your security questions.
Section 3: Pages 11 - 13 - If you know your password and security question answers.
Once you have updated your password, please email Timothy.Lockwood@ped.nm.gov and he will confirm the password was updated and re-enable your SSO Account.
Once the DAD is closed, any requested data changes require formal approval by the Superintendent/Charter Representative to reopen the DAD.
- The Superintendent/Charter Representative must submit a request to reopen through the Google Form link here 2024-2025 Nova Reopen and Close Request.
- The Superintendent/Charter Representative will receive email notification from PED indicating the denial (window remains closed) or approval (window is open).
- Once all data changes are complete, the Superintendent/Charter Representative must revisit the Google Form by locating the email from “Google Forms <forms-receipts-noreply@google.com>” and clicking “Edit Response” and entering the date of the DAD can be closed in the last question.
PED has recently updated their password policy to maintain compliance with current Security Guidelines.
All SSO Accounts (Unique ID, DAD, and DVD) will need its users to visit the Self-Service Tool website to update to a new password. Our Guide may be helpful in this process. The instructions would be located in the last section labeled Account Change Guidance. The deadline for password changes will be July 31st 2025. If SSO users have not changed their passwords by the set date, the user will be forced to go through First Time User Registration again before they regain their SSO access.
